The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources declared 2023 the Year of the Trail and we are celebrating by highlighting StoryWalks and literary trails across North Carolina. Check out our map and make sure your library or community’s StoryWalk or book walk is included.

If you don’t see one or more of your StoryWalk or book walks listed, let us know! Please note this map is for permanently installed StoryWalk and book walks only, not temporary or pop-ups as they are difficult to track over time.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
