We want to know about your summer library programs!
The Collaborative Summer Library Program survey is open now through 9/13/2024

The Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) end-of-summer survey is now open through Friday, September 13, 2024. This survey gives the most robust picture of summer library programs offered by public libraries and your feedback is vital to the future of the CSLP program.
Here are some of the ways data from the CSLP Survey is used:
Understanding the nature of summer library programs and information sharing
Tracking trends for summer library programs
Insight into adult summer programsÂ
Understanding the breadth of summer library programs including take & makes, virtual programs, and methods of tracking participation
Gathering direct feedback about how CSLP can better meet your library’s summer programming needs
The preferred method of reporting is by the branch or location level with one submission per location. Multiple library staff from the same branch may complete the sections of the survey most relevant to their work (e.g. children, teen, or adult programs). Â
A printer friendly copy of the survey is available here though note this version includes questions from other states that can be skipped by NC libraries. Only surveys submitted electronically through the survey platform will be accepted.
Our goal is to have 100% of North Carolina’s public libraries participate in the survey. Please complete the survey even if you did not use the Collaborative Summer Library Program. Â
About the Collaborative Summer Library Program
The Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) is the national librarian volunteer organization that creates the manuals, artwork, merchandise and other support materials for your library to use for summer programming and year-round. The State Library of North Carolina pays membership dues to CSLP on behalf of all North Carolina public libraries for access to these materials. In turn, any North Carolina public library staff member may participate in a CSLP committee to help create future programs. Jasmine Rockwell, SLNC Youth Services Consultant, is the NC State Representative to CSLP.Â
